A Day In The Life of a Full-Time MAX Associate (your humor for the day!)
(Think about this; it IS humor–of sorts….)
Bad day networking?
I know you’ve seen the meetings, been on the conf calls, read all about the
Opportunity and have the Max view of the world sent to you in every shape and form about how rosy it is to be making a full time income at Max. Not to put a dampener on any of that, but I thought I’d share some real world experiences not covered in those presentation, yup, the downside if you will.
I just get done making a great dinner for me and Booboo and right when I put It on the table, I get a team member with a hot prospect for a 3-way call, so the Prospect is hot and 20 minutes later my meal isn’t, but we have a new partner. I’m smiling at what a great day it is and one of my Max partners calls and says That her downline spent food money to get the Diamond Pack and it hasn’t been shipped yet so they can sell some product to put food on the table and I have to drop everything I’m doing and call customer service to fix it.
I call a good friend to tell them about Max and he informs me he just signed up yesterday and is very excited about going Gold in 30 days. I get a hot prospect and call George for a 3-way call and because it’s me, he takes the call even though he’s on his “Date night” with his daughter. George does the call and I feel grateful and guilty at the same time.
Two people in my downline are trying to recruit the same person and I have to make a judgment call that will for sure upset one of them greatly. I get a call from an upset downline when I forgot to get on their conf call and I let them down.
Do you know what’s worse than every single example I just gave above?
1) Commuting back and forth to work 10 to 12 times a week in rush hour traffic!
2) Getting passed over for promotion due to budget cuts or favoritism!
3) Not being able to take time off for work to watch a sons game or a daughters play!
4) Getting chewed out by a boss! (You talking to me?)
5) Getting fired or laid off and looking for a job, going on a demoralizing interview!
6) Cutting short my vacation where I’m having a blast because I have to be back at work!
7) It’s Wednesday, it’s the first day of fishing season and I can’t take one lousy day off!
My boss hires his nephew who is half my age to be my supervisor and I have to train him!
9) Taxes are going up faster than my pay raises!
10) The kids are off to school and my spouse has that lustful look in their eye and I have to work!
Sooooo, relatively speaking, I’ve never actually had a bad day in my life networking as a full time Max associate, not when I compare it to what a really bad day looks like with a J.O.B.!
Network Marketing isn’t a bed of roses, but when you’re at Max, the manure just makes things grow faster!
